Inner and outer landscapes from Texas artists Susie Monday, Pipe Creek, and Junanne Peck, Fort Worth.

Monday’s new textile collage paintings explore the expanses of Big Bend, the roads traveled without and within— especially the paths of women -- and the legends that arise from those journeys inside and out. Peck’s etchings and monotypes express images that spring from her dreams and meditation, tapping into hidden resources of joy and expansion. Together the two women, whose art and teaching have brought them together, find find inspiration in nature, story telling and the power of images to make us think, feel and delight in the world.

Art on the iPad Workshop 
Still just using that expensive tablet for Facebook and email only? Learn to use your iPad for art-making! Susie Monday shares the best apps for photo editing, sketching, travel journals even fabric design, with detailed tutorials and lots of hands-on fun. Just bring your tablet, charger and imagination. Registrants will receive a list of apps to download before the workshop — apps will cost less than $7.00 total. You’ll also take home a jumpdrive with more tutorials, examples and ideas for more apps to try. $45

November 12, all day
Spontaneous Mark Workshop 
Printing and mark-making on paper and fabric, all day workshop with Susie Monday and Junanne Peck. This two part workshop, with morning and afternoon sessions that build upon and complement each other, give participants experiences in experimental mark making on paper -- with monotype, drypoint and stencils -- and on fabric -- with water-soluble crayon deconstructed screen printing and “sun” printing with textile paints. $99 includes lunch
